I remember it all too well! My mom and I even started a petition against the PMRC and managed to get the signatures of many rock stars, including the guys from Slaughter, Faster Pussycat, Warrant, Firehouse, and others, but obviously Tone-Deaf Tipper got her way anyway.
I believe it actually backfired and sales went up!
Mom & I stood in a long line to purchase two cassette copies of 2LiveCrew's "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" uncensored version! I still have them, btw. 🤩👍
