Iām from Ohio and the debate about where flight originated is a big debate. We say here and NC says there. š
And we Kiwis say it was Richard Pearse on 31 March 1903 in Canterbury, New Zealand
So apparently no one really knows! Lol Years ago the US mint had each state make a short motto for a quarter coin to represent each state. Both Ohio and North Carolina had something like birthplace of aviation. š
