YES. Let's stay on DST forever. I say this autumn we refuse to fall back. We just don't do it. Enough of us say no and we become the standard. Who's with me?

I will happily sign on to this movement. Winter days are already short enough -- why have a schedule where so many people have to both go to work AND come home in the dark 3+ months of the year? As for children going to school in the dark, experts have been saying our kids need more sleep and to be allowed to start school later in the day. Having slept through the 1st hour of school my entire high school career, God knows I concur on that one. :-)

Apocryphal or not, that statement actually kinda ridiculous. If you’re in bed and you’re too hot or too cold, you don’t cut part of the blanket off, you move the blanket on your body. It isn’t about the length of the blanket. And changing the clocks arbitrarily, especially in different ways in different parts of the world (or country or state in some cases) is fucking stupid and we shouldn’t do it anymore.

You'll be happy to know that chronobiologists (experts who study circadian rhythms) largely agree with you, and one of the biggest organization of such experts issued their opinion that DST can go fuck itself.

Fuck the idea of DLS. Just leave the clocks alone. It stays light late enough in the evening in the summer. Winter days are supposed to be dark. I sure as hell don't want to do the first 3 hours in the dark.
