Ken Rowe actually passed away at the end of 2022 at the age of 90. My parents knew Ken at University of Delaware in the late 1950s, he (engineering student) was paired with my mom (math dept student) to hand-program the new Bendix computer that the University of Delaware had acquired for their new Computer Science Department. My dad remembers spending time with Ken in the cafeteria helping him with English pronunciation and coaching him on American idioms and slang.
