I find myself manually searching FB to read posts on most of the pages I follow. Usually the posts will only pop up in my feed if one of my FB friends has "liked" it. Can't blame you at all for switching to Substack!

Fuckerberg failed entirely for me when he started blocking Canadian news content. Google (whom I'm sure he thought would follow his lead) negotiated and came to a settlement with Canada. That must have startled him. Now several other countries ~Australia, New Zealand and a few European countries are looking for revenue for their FB newspages. That his employees refer to him as "The Eye of Sauron" comes as no surprize. He's evil. And he's somehow managed to keep who/what he really is under the radar, mainly because "Phoney Stark" (😅) is making such a spectacular effort to implode. And take his empire with him. Some still think fondly of fuckerberg as "that kid who dropped out of college and became a billionaire." Really? I have no idea how/what/when/where or how those two particular people became this influential in our lives (I've never used twitter or whatever tf it's called now) but use fb daily~especially fuckerberg ~who stole (allegedly) the idea for an app to RATE WOMEN'S FUCKABILITY. Remember that? He's a toad. A snake. And edging closer and closer to that far right lunatic fringe that so many others are enamoured of, bringing his bat shit crazy philosophy that everyone will live in Ai, with him.
So to end my rant, I'll just say, I'm old(ish) and I'm *ahem* a little less able to tolerate the absolute bullshit, the liars, dicks, twats and the general fuckery that fills the endless scrolls of our lifetimes online. Thank you for your efforts. You and Stewart are two breaths of fresh air I look forward to. So I'm with you til my death do us part. Lucky you 🙄🙄. Luckier me.
I wondered why I suddenly stopped seeing all of your posts. I can barely see when my friends post something because of all the ridiculous ads and “suggestions”. Fuck Facebook. Good on ya!
If I could afford it, I’d sign up and pay, willingly. But as it stands, I owe the AB gov almost 60k in student loans, and the feds about 22k. And I don’t even make that much in a year. 🤷♀️. I wanted an edumication, so now I’m paying for it. 😆
I started a Facebook page for my ranch, solely to give people who didn't want to hear about my politics a place to follow the horses and such. Facebook cut its reach and I don't even make any money in any form or fashion from that platform. So I guess I'm here.
I wondered what happened, as I’ve had to go seek out your page to read FB posts for a couple of months. Similarly, a huge loss of readers/ loss of “likes” is also happening for “regular people” who post a lot. I know people who write opinion pieces, who used to get a few hundred “likes” per article, and now get thirty or forty. It’s frustrating and a little demoralizing for them. Fucking Facebook…I’m cutting back, too. I’m a happier person when I stay away, or just severely limit what I do on there.
