I published my first book at 56. 4.5 years later, I'm finishing up #51. Age, my friend, is just a number. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

Thanks for the inspiration, friend. I'm turning 61 in a few weeks while wondering whether or not to try some new things.

The answer is YES. No, it's FUCK YES. Do it. You will only regret shit you didn't try when you had the chance.

Sorry that Calgary is too far from Western Massachusetts. I love doing readings and relating to those who are supporters. Be sure to leave time for questions .... the best part of the evening.

Don’t worry so much about your age. You don’t have to.

I started martial arts at 46. I have two black belts. I started whip cracking in my 50s. Nothing special to say about that other than it's a shitload of fun. I started learning to play the drums when I was 60. I was two weeks younger than today (I'm 62) when I took my first knife throwing lesson. I plan to be tournament ready by next June. It is NEVER too late to start something new. James you are so far from the top of the hill that your nose will bleed when you get there. You fucking go my friend!

James, I'm really excited for you. I have followed you on Facebook since you were a fitness writer, and while you've always been an excellent writer, it's clear that you've really found something you're passionate about, and it shows. Knock 'em dead!

I agree with all of the folks who tell you that age is just a number. I have no doubt you will continue to entertain and enlighten!

I bought a book for my daughter, and just now bought a signed copy for me! Merry Christmas to me! :-)

Bonnie Garmus just published her first bestselling novel at 64, and quit her day job. Seems like you're ahead of the curve.

One question. Is the font of the book big enough to be easy on the eye for the elderly (77) with poor vision? I’m cranky today, ordered a book which i cannot read for this reasons outlined below . I cannot bet again on ordering a book to find i cannot read it when it arrives ( beginning cataracts ). If not the font size it is always the selection of background and strength of the font color and size. Not everyone is young and healthy.
