1) You turned me on to the Kingbridge series over a year ago, and I've been binging them ever since. I just started the latest, and yep...same formula. At this point its as comfortable as a sweater knit out of Kingsbridge wool.
2) You are right. That picture is dorky as fuck. But adorably dorky, so don't despair. We love you anyway.
Ms. "Steffi" clearly hasn't been paying attention. Punk rock is inherently political! And changing one line in a song called *American Idiot* hardly changes anything really 🤣
Someone sent me an email with a photo of Prince Phillip, when he was like 99 and near death, saying "Here is Subsequent Philip" and I almost died from laughter.
I'm loving the new format. I'm usually late to the party for any new online stuff, but I really enjoy your take on the shit show that is human history.
Steffi (my phone autocorrected to Stuffy and I almost left it fyi) was obviously never really a punk. They have always been loud voices esp about politics.
I feel like the whole, "Tell me you know nothing about punk rock without telling me you don't know," thing applies to Steffi.
I'm here from Utah, one of the red states, and I so very much agree with your frustration about this country. I snorted when I saw your comment on God's post about this place being a meth lab.
Also, congrats on all the recognition! You deserve all of that and more. And thanks for all you do to encourage other writers.
You are a true wordsmith, Mr. Fell. My hat's off to you. "Trumpanzees misplaced all of their excrement." 👩🏼🍳 😘
Trump is invading the world at large. I moved to Alberta from Florida 17 years ago and I think Alberta is probably better than Florida right now, but not by much. We're really working hard to dumb-down and cripple our education and health systems.
Hahahaha @ Steffi wanting to keep politics out of one the most politically motivated music genres ever. I do love me some Green Day 💚.
Also the Kingbridge series is amazing.
Just finished the new edition of your book. Wanted it to be the last book I finished in 2023 but alas my needy 6 year old prevented that. So it was the first book I finished in 2024
Music is art. Art is inherently political. Whether its the starfish snogging Kinkaid, which is totally about showing how dee light ful the olden days were, to Picasso's Guernica, which shows the horrors of war and Fascism. While the former may be a type of propaganda, it is still <gag> art.
I have two comments:

Adorkable?
Yep, that about nails it.
welp, that's it. Word of the year for 2024 is done. 🤓

They could always change it to “American moron.” Has a nice ring....
I bet Steffi doesn't complain when conservative musicians express their political views in songs.
I am absolutely stealing “enshittification.” Laughed out loud when I read that.
I do believe it can apply to so much more than social media platforms.
Micro transactions started the enshittification of gaming.
Auto tune furthered the enshittification of popular music.
And on and on.
Leave it to Cory Doctorow... 😆
Your comment about Subsequent Philip was gold 👌😂
Someone sent me an email with a photo of Prince Phillip, when he was like 99 and near death, saying "Here is Subsequent Philip" and I almost died from laughter.
bahahaha omg that's amazing 😂
Enshittification. Ye gods, how I love that word!

LOL, Steffi is no punk rock girl. She wouldn’t know punk rock if it punched her in the face.
And punk rock would!
Excellence in Swearing!!!
What an excellent award!!
Yay you....
I love this, very entertaining. I really need to find the best way to order your book from Australia.
