Good reading list. Pretty ambitious but impressive as hell. Wish I was young enough to sign up as a research assistant.

I want to give your book to my son who will love it but first I have to wait 5 to 7 business days for my new credit card that hasn’t been fraudulently accessed by some rat fucker while I was trying to buy online gifts for my grandkids ffs.

I'm a bit sad that the Margaret Mede story is BS. It seemed sweet that one person was cared for and that was some kind of turning point marking the beginning of civilization. Caring for each other seems to be a lovely attribute. I also wonder about the members of the community that decided one should be cared for but another, not so much. That one is too old or not a nice guy. It is very difficult to use forensics or modern day ethics to explain this 🤔. But it is a nice story.

James I want to recommend another book for your reading list: Pathogenesis, A History of the World in Eight Plagues by Jonathan Kennedy. I have your book and I want to thank you for teaching this old history nerd that there’s still things to learn.

Hmm. I'd add the contents of your bookshelf to my reading list, but I don't know that I'll live long enough to read them all... 😆
