Yo check this out.
Here it is straight on.
Volume 1 of On This Day in History Sh!t Went Down was published one year minus two days ago. Sales have been pretty fucking stellar. And so, I’ve decided to re-release V1 with a new cover design AND also as a 7X10 hardcover.
I need to explain a couple of things. First off, if you want the 6X9 trade paper, that will also have to new cover design, but here is why I think you should cough up a bit of extra money for the hardcover. First off, like I said, it’s 7X10. It’s a big fucker, meaning the font is significantly larger for people who struggle to read typical font sizes. It’s also a “casebound” hardcover.
Dafuq is a casebound hardcover? Think of a textbook, like how the cover is hard but the design is glued to the surface rather than being some flimsy removable wrap around shit typical of most hardcover books. I hate that removable wrap around shit. This makes the hardcover an excellent choice as a coffee table book, because it looks fuckin’ sharp and it really is the type of book someone can leave lying around the house and someone else will grab it and say oh what’s this let’s look at the story for today / my birthday / the day my divorce finally went through. Conversation starter ya know?
Mother’s Day is coming soon. You say you got her the book already? And she loved it, right? She’ll love the hardcover one more cuz she can lay it out on the coffee table n’ shit.
Also, I fixed some typos, made a few other changes and updates. I’ll probably write a post about the fixes in the not too distant future because some of them were kinda funny.
Anyway, it should be available on other platforms in a few days, but for right now you can only get the hardcover on Amazon U.S. and Amazon Canada. Here are the links:
Also, love the cover, it's laugh-out-loud on its own!
I have your book on my kobo (Canadian kindle) which is convenient but less than satisfactory as a reading experience. So the hardcover is on order.
