James, thank you for bringing up the rape aspect of the case. This happened when I was a kid and I only knew what was joke about and such. I didn't learn the truth about the case until I read an adult and I was flabbergasted but not shocked. We hate to talk about it, but we lived and still live in a rape culture.
The sad truth is that “men” all over the world have been raised to be sad, empty, dangerous women haters. Why is this? Who thinks this is a good thing? If you are a happy, well adjusted male with good purpose and character there is not much in the world more wonderful. Women who also have purpose and good character are lucky and pleased to find healthy , happy partners.
Our society has , as long as I have been here , written a very sketchy trail for “men” to adhere to. Do you become a “cowboy”, a football jock, a sports car driver, a marine, a dictator in order to be accepted as a man?
All humans need to know that real romance and sexual pleasure and being the best of your gender comes with the experience of real romance and love and kindness. Nothing better than adoring who you are because you don’t get to abuse another human.
The guy I'm infatuated with right now said, in all honesty, that there's more to life than sex. Forget dating, I want to marry him immediately! (But dating is important)
Thank you for the comment about Howard Stern. I am consistently appalled by how many people that I basically respect praise him as some sort of champion of free speech. He’s disgusting and his disrespect of women seeps out of every pore of his body. And don’t even get me started on that cackling enabler sidekick, Robin.
Thank you for highlighting the issue of rape. The media focused so much on what she did, that most people did not understand the why. As a high schoolers at the time, so many of these cases sensationalized by the media did a disservice to victims of assault, including her.
This kind of abuse still happens. Somehow too many people find a way to make it the woman’s fault. It’s infuriating. And Howard Stern is a nasty pos. This one should be saved and shared.

Let’s be clear, this wasn’t just any old part of “Virginia” this was in Manassas, VA which is in Prince William County. Manassas is only about 55 minutes drive or 35 miles/56 kilometers to Washington DC.

IMHO, the only mistake Lorena made was throwing it out her car window. She should have put it in her blender and turned it to "Liquify".

I so remember that and at the time I thought that I would have made sure it wasn’t attachable again. Just saying
He sounds like ideal MAGA material 🤡
There are men who really do need to be put down like rabid dogs.
She should have taken his balls too.

Ekkkkk, just yuck. The assdick took abuse to a top level. Cannot imagine how victims recover at all
Men who abuse women the way he does often escalate into killers. He seems like poor white trash to me.
