Except it just never got shipped. Yesterday they were still insisting that it would arrive today, but as it hasn't been shipped, and is coming from the US, that's impossible.
So I bought volume 2 - which arrived in two days - and I'll probably add volume 1 to my son in law's birthday or Easter presents.
